Thanks...they're very common here, usually the first thing to bloom each year. They usually come up through the snow, hence the name Snowdrops

Roses are too delicate for me...I have luck with hardier plants. I have a lot of exotics that are suppose to be annuals in my area, but they've become perennials (like Canna & Pineapple Lily), plus I have a lot of shade

I don't have much shade so my roses can become a little tricky mid-summer, unfortunately. I have a lot of a harder time with exotics but I think that's just because of my lack of shade. I have few shade trees.
